"  valeria  shakes  her  head  as  she  turns  towards  the  other ,  " i  see  you  have  returned  from  your  adventures  through  the  castle ,  do  they  still  watch  you  like  you  are  some  kind  of  animal  to  be  displayed ?  when  i  am  out  there ,  i  have  to  remind  myself  that  poking  their  eyes  out  with  my  nails  would  not  be  the  most  diplomatic  of  things  to  do . there  had  been  a  million  and  one  questions  asked  when  the  disappearances  had  occurred  and  then  the  bodies  that  had  begun  to  be  found .  a  lack  of  blood  in  their  bodies ,  something  of  which  they  would  learn  was  because  of  vampires .  along  with  the  other  high  healers ,  jesinia  had  been  allowed  a  moment  to  investigate  the  body  to  understand  what  they  were  up  against .  nothing  would  bring  them  back  once  emptied  of  their  blood .  it  was  a  ghastly  thing  to  see ,  the  pale  hollowed  out  body  of  a  once  vibrant  fae  a  shock  to  them  all .  jesinia  turns  as  another  steps  up  to  the  railing  and  immediately  she  finds  the  need  to  speak .  " if  you're  going  to  ask  if  healing  magic  can  bring  back  blood ,  it  cannot .  when  one  has  lost  a  lot  of  blood  and  if  they  are  still  alive ,  then  it  simply  can  help  to  speed  up  a  body's  innate  healing . research  or  better  called  snooping  was  something  that  was  a  hobby  and  a  requirement  for  the  spymaster .  with  the  vampires  as  their  guest s,  morana  had  become  desperate  to  listen  to  every  whisper ,  to  task  her  spies  with  finding  out  everything  they  could  about  them .  the  secrets  that  they  kept  buried  under  pleasant  talk  and  flowered  words  of  their  history .  she  had  been  curious ,  if  her  affinity  could  be  used  on  the  vampires  but  it  seemed  not  even  they  were  free  from  her  knowing  if  they  were  truthful  or  not .  making  her  rounds  about  the  castle,  the  royal  library  had  become  her  latest  stop .  fae  and  vampire  alike  were  in  the  corners  and  tables  trying  to  piece  together  history  of  the  other  and  she  sees  a  person  looking  with  rushed  intent  through  the  bookshelves .  while  she  was  not  the  head  scholar,  she  was  familiar  with  them  shelves  around  them .  " are  you  looking  for  something  specific ?  i  may  be  able  to  assist . "

the  great  hall  was  usually  bustling  but  it  appeared  even  more  so  with  the  added  guests  within ,  intermingling  amongst  the  fae  of  aethara .  the  princess  was  amongst  them  as  well,  but  he  was  watching  from  a  distance  at  this  time  and  she  was  safe  with  other  guards  also  within  the  room  keeping  a  strong  eye  on  their  guests .  the  tideborn  did  not  know  what  to  make  of  them  and  their  presence  but  he  wasn't  about  let  them  be  unguarded  around  them ,  lest  these  vampires  try  to  become  the  end  of  their  kind  entirely .  the  guard  straightens  a  bit  as  the  presence  of  the  royal ,  his  charge's  sibling  approaching  them .  " your  highness .  i  am  happy  to  see  you  well . "  he  nods  his  head  in  acknowledgement ,  " is  there  anything  i  can  do  for  you ? "
