it  is  in  hana's  nature  to  prefer  remaining  in  the  shadows.  few  people  know  enough  to  connect  her  face  with  her  reputation  and  maintaining  a  level  of  secrecy  is  necessary  for  obvious  reasons.  that's  why  she  is  taken  aback  when  minki  asks  her  to  be  his  date  to  the  gala  and  decides  to  decline  the  invitation  for  once.  however,  her  resolve  noticeably  softens  when  he  presents  her  with  the  dress  he  has  already  bought  for  her.  material  gifts  don't  hold  much  significance  for  her,  but  the  fact  that  he  took  the  time  out  of  his  day  to  choose  it  touches  her  in  a  way  she  didn't  expect.  then  again,  she  never  thought  they  would  have  come  this  far  either.  "oh,  it's  actually  a  nice  dress."  she  comments  genuinely, though  it  shouldn't  come  as  a  surprise  since  he's  always  been  meticulous  about  appearances.  "but  have  you  considered  that  i  don't  like  people?  because  i  really  don't."  she  points  out,  as  if  presenting  a  convincing  argument  in  a  courtroom.  he  is  a  rare  exception  and  accepting  that  fact  took  a  considerable  amount  of  time. / @evocatiive

"oh,  wow."  jules  exclaims,  taking  a  moment  to  process  how  crazy  it  all  is.  first,  the  obsessive  fans  are  flocking  to  her  social  media  to  leave  hate  comments  for  doing  her  job,  and  now,  not  even  her  boyfriend,  who  works  far  from  the  entertainment  industry,  is  spared.  "but  what  if..."  she  trails  off,  taking  a  few  more  seconds  to  organise  her  idea.  "what  if  you  take  the  chance  to  start  a  channel  and  begin  posting  your  music?  i  mean...  if  they're  already  there  on  your  account,  they  may  click  around  and  you  might  as  well  use  the  attention  for  your  benefit."  besides,  not  all  the  attention  is  necessarily  malicious...  some  people  who  aren't  part  of  the  ludicrous  mob  are  only  there  to  catch  up  on  the  drama. / @evocatiive

"Ready for another round?"

oliver groans, "how long do i have to sit here?" he asks, the two of them were getting for a halloween party with friends. the other was doing his make-up, "surely you must be done by now, please"

anthony  observes  the  tension  in  jinho's  shoulders  and  the  tightness  of  his  fists.  although  the  nature  of  his  nocturnal  business  demands  secrecy,  anthony  realises  that  maintaining  this  secrecy  could  jeopardise  their  relationship  which  he  values  too  much  to  ruin.  he  takes  another  deep  breath  and  summons  the  courage  to  confess,  but  before  doing  so,  he  seeks  some  reassurance  for  himself.  "if  i  tell  you,  can  you  promise  me  that  you  won't  freak  out?"  this  statement  doesn't  lessen  the  impact  of  the  impending  revelation,  but  at  least  he  can  tell  jinho  then    that  he  had  warned  him  about  the  peculiarity  of  what  he  is  about  to  disclose.
