An X-Men Evolution verse in which Evo Anne Marie became girlfriends with @welookoutforourownâs OC Mady and they grew up to be X-Men together! So did Fabian, lol. Their costumes are mostly black, with yellow accents for Maddy, blue for Anne Marie, and red for Fabian. Primary colors squad! I based Maddyâs outfit on the one her mun drew for her adult self but added some ribbing on the black parts to be kinda like the movies, since the twins have that and I think it looks cool. The thing on Anne Marieâs hand is a grip, like gymnasts use, itâs basically a strip of material affixed to her palm.
I like to think that Evo Fabian grew up to be a decent guy and have a normal life in his default verse. Because the scary crazy mutant life freaks him out, and he has a chance to be better than 616 Fabian and I'd like for him to take it, I know he for sure would NOT want to be like 616 Fabian if he knew about him. But for the sake of annoying poor Maddy...in THIS verse, he joins the X-Men as an adult, and his personality is...sort of a blend of his 616 self with a still-decent core. He's still sexist and egocentric, but has a lot of good qualities too, hence being a good guy. So instead of being a scary semi-rapey straight-up irredeemable evil villain like in 616, he's just easily distracted by flattery and/or sexy villainesses, and is a big glory-hog who loves the spotlight, and is definitely OBNOXIOUS but not in any way actually DANGEROUS, and he does good things like saving his teammates (instead of MURDERING them) and general super-heroing. He's a LOYAL jerkass this time! And there is probably a lot of comic relief at his expense XD
Anne Marie, obviously, is not a murderous extremist either like her 616 self. I like to think that meeting Xavier as a teen enabled him to recognize the dangers of how she thinks before things got too bad, and intervene in a way that worked for her and helped her in a way that suits the way her mind works. So she isnât extreme in just the opposite way instead, she doesn't just have the black-and-white violent 'KILL 'EM ALL' approach to bad guys that she does to good guys in 616, sheâs learned how to be moderate to a sane degree. But is still probably the one you ought to keep an eye on if something REALLY sets her sense of injustice off! (I also like to think there was feels about Charles wishing he could have done the same for Erik. I can't see him NOT thinking of that. 'Course, we see in glimpses of the Evo future that Magneto turns around too, but he's still done...a LOT of damage before that happens. With Anne Marie, Charles gets to help stop it before it starts!)
I don't know if Maddy has a codename as an adult but since the twins don't, I kind of like the idea of her not having one either, since they're a trio team (though they might have some other members to round them out power-wise, like an elemental, a teleporter, a flying brawler type, etc). It might also be a meta indicator that they don't NEED codenames in the future to disguise their identities.
As far as who they're fighting in the future, I imagine that a new Brotherhood or an equivalent has formed, the Hellfire Club and Hellions have turned up, a whole lot of anti-mutant groups have cropped up the more and more public mutants become, and, of course, I have to throw in lots of obscure 90s villains that only I care about seeing again (Trevor Fitzroy, Fatale, Siena Blaze, etc.)
I like to think there's a running gag of women being attracted to Anne Marie and men being attracted to Maddy BECAUSE COME ON YOU KNOW THAT'S HOW IT WOULD HAPPEN (and, fine, Fabian can get some lovin' too, probably from Evo versions of characters like Meggan and Gosamyr who canonically want big macho hero types)
tagging @captaindicks cuz I feel like heâd like this idea
