However! Yesterday was the start of my triathlon series! Texas Tech hosts an Iron Man Triathlon that actually is spread out over 16 days so us lazy people can actually boast of doing an Iron Man! Did I do anything yesterday? No. Did I at least do something today? Yes! I ran 2 miles.

But you know what I learned this morning, jogging endlessly like a mouse on that treadmill? I don't like running. Which is weird- I was about to sign up for a marathon in October the other day. But I don't like it.

"But Niki! You should try outdoor running if you hate the idea of running but getting nowhere!" Actually, this may surprise a lot of runners, but I actually hate running outdoors more than on a treadmill. I guess because it feels (and is) harder? Like.. there's wind and hills and other outdoor things that generally try to make running even more miserable than it already is. And the cars and bikes just mock you by rolling by on far less energy and at a far greater speed. At least on a treadmill you have TV to distract you from the pain in your thighs. Outside, you just have squirrels.
