August 3rd - Evilessâ¨
The sinister villainess known as Eviless heralds from an advanced subterranean civilization deep under the surface of Saturn. Â This society was a slave state and Eviless its master slaver. Â She traveled to earth seeing it as an easy planet to concur so to provide Saturn a new supply of laborers. Â This scheme was dashed by Wonder Wiman who defeated Eviless and imprisoned the villain on Transformation Island. Â The effort to rehabilitate Eviless failed and the villainess used it as an opportunity to unite several of Wonder Womanâs foes together as the first iteration of Villainy Incorporated. Â Fortunately, Wonder Woman was able to prevail against the combined forces of Villainy Inc., but Eviless would return time and again to battle the heroine. Â The villainess first appeared in the pages of Wonder Woman #10 (1944). Â

Wonder Woman:Â Steve Trevor Special #1
âŚOR âWonder Woman: Steve Trevor *is* Special #1â
Wonder Womanâs boyfriend is constantly there in the background, waiting for her with some encouraging words and cuddles when superheroing gets her down. Â We also know that in between cuddles heâs a military spy, but the comics rarely focus on this (unless he eventually needs his ladyâs rescue). Â This special is here to tell us a little more about the man behind THE woman. Letâs get to it!
1. The villain formerly known as Eviless
First, I get a whole story about Steve Trevor! Second, the Crimson Centipede makes an appearance! Third, one of the greatest Wonder Woman villains of all time shows up! In Wonder Woman v1 #10 (one of the weirdest and most classic WW issues of all time), beings from Saturn show up to enslave humanity. One of the Saturn guards, Eviless, takes a special liking to torturing Steve Trevor. Â Wonder Woman eventually convinces her to come to Reform Island to get rid of her evilness, but with a name like *that* how could it stick?!
She later goes on to assemble Villainy inc (âNot a sissy in the lotââ˘) in WW v1 #28, but hasnât been around since then. In this issue she makes her glorious return as SATURNA, leader of a militia who believes that the world will perish *under blood red skies* (thatâs more Jupiter, but whatever! Itâs planetary!). And sheâs still got her whip, which she had in her original appearance as well! Iâm here for this, especially since we may see more of her in the future. Heck yeah!
