Woaaaaaaaah. I fucking loved this. Lexa berating herself for caring about Clarke even though Clarke was being reckless, knowing she shouldn't care that much about the decisions Clarke made on her own, knowing the danger in them. Then Lexa seeing all the hurt Clarke was harboring over her mom's words and possibly a flicker of doubt in Clarke's eyes as if they made the wrong choice, Lexa needed to remind Clarke that part of being a leader means making the tough choices. The charged energy that's always between them ramped up in one soft touch and Clarke redirected all of her energy into that touch. Lexa never stood a chance of saying no to Clarke. Not with the heat beneath her fingertips. Not with the fire in Clarke's eyes and the hurt in Clarke's heart. Not with all the care that Lexa was trying and failing to ignore. Not with Clarke ... being Clarke.
I really enjoyed the little twist of events where Clarke decided she was going to take control even though she's never been with a woman. She was trembling and messy and imperfect. And it was everything for Lexa. For Lexa, there's no ignoring her caring after this. She will give Clarke the world, because now Clarke is her whole world. I mean, Lexa couldnāt even remember how to speak English for fucks sake. Sheās a total goner now.Ā
I got wayyy behind posting the #EveryClexaAO3 fics iāve read because i had a HUGE life event happen thatās kept me off Tumblr for a couple weeks. Iāve read through 69 fics (lol that number just happened to work out on itās own) since my last post on this journey and thatās just way too many to try and catch up with info and gifs/mood boards for all of them. What makes you decide to delete a fic from AO3, or any other platform?Ā
Iām working on through reading every clexa fic on AO3 and I post about a lot of them as I go. In 20 days the count went from 8,016 clexa fics on AO3 to 7,993. I know there are new ones completed almost daily, which means even more than that have been removed in that timeframe. I know iām not the only one thatās gone back looking for one of their faves to re-read only to find itās been removed. Which is heartbreaking. So iām just wondering what brings you to this decision. The amount of negative comments? Old fics you donāt want up there anymore? Moving to a different platform?
