some people really think "Mike should be hurt the same way Will is" to be "redeemed" which is A, an ignorant take that shows lack of story and character comprehension, because Mike already is hurting in the same way Will is, he's just less obvious about it/we're not in his head.
B, he didn't actually do anything wrong - for example, Will crying in the van is not because of something Mike did, it's because of something Will is Feeling, which Mike has no control over.
And C, it's just such a cruel way to think. Would you really need to hurt your friend back before being able to forgive them? Can't you just show forgiveness and be graceful without it? To the FRIEND you've known your entire life???
