The Cavellis are merciful, thus those who’s survived the war are taken in as slaves rather than killed. Despite the undignified position she’s in, the fire in her eyes never leaves. Just how he likes it. There she is, offered in front of him, as if in a silver platter. He shifts in his throne, a smug smile emerging from his lips. 

        “Let her go,” he orders. The guards are hesitant to follow his command. What with the princess who looks like she’s about to lash out once freed. But even if she attacks, he can handle her. “Do it.” His voice is authoritative this time, hence the guard has no choice but to follow his command. 

        When she’s freed from her shackles, he says, “She’s going to be my new personal maid.”
