@sodasound 's H3000-D/SE fixed! 😊😊😊 After some three hours work found three toasted op-amps that made the right channel's meter always display full level; as well as a ground lug inside the left channel's output XLR that was touching pin 3, permanently grounding the anti-phase signal! Not only did this channel's output drop by almost 10 dB, but the signal waveform was disorted too! 😥 Took me some time to find that out (I had to remove the output relay to make sure it was ok) but now the meters are perfect and both channels' output level are finally balanced 😊 #Eventide #H3000 #H3000DSE #EventideH3000 #EventideH3000DSE #VintageDigitalFXBox #VintageDigitalOutboard #Repair #Sodasound #SodasoundStudios #StudiosSodasound #StudioPiscineATokyo #TheGoodDoctorPrager

Another H3000 fixed? This time, it's the B model from the famous Question de Son Studios in downtown Paris. Was having an issue with the +5V supply section's Schottky rectifier. "TMS320 LOADING ERROR" solved!!! 😊😊😊 F*cking EPROMs' jumpers... 😡 Had to solder a bypass wire because one of the ROM configuration jumpers had its track broken somewhere on the circuit board. An almost invisible thing to spot, unless you have a large magnifying glass... Anyway, now the unit is working like a charm, and has all the most recent software (2.17 OS and H3500 algorithms and presets).
