âHeads up kiddo,â
Cecil called out from a nearby rooftop, far more relaxed than he should have been all things considered. He wasnât even sure if the young man head exactly what he said, but he was fine so long as he caught his attention for a moment. The fragment in his hand caught the light overhead with a shine that made him think that for a moment that it might have been worth as much the sort of jewel it was billed as. His hobby of pretending to be a serious appraiser of goods wasnât quite behind him yet, but his eyes werenât as good as they used to be.
A second opinion certainly wouldnât hurt.Â
âWhat do ya make of these?â
âThink theyâd fetch a good price somewhere?â
