@Evariche: Mocking of the Endless Sorcerer

Somebody close to the bridge between Sectors 1 and 2 would suddenly hear a very loud scream.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"
A very familiar one, for those who've read the recording of the Rokkenjima games.
Battler couldn't grasp where they came from. At one second, he was staring at the fragile structure he'd have to cross to continue on his journey to Beato's apartment and assure his wife that he was doing fine. Despite such a goal, his fear of falling had gotten the best of him for the moment and he was paralyzed before it. It'd already be scary enough if this was just a huge chasm in the ground, but if his worst fears about what's going on in Hive City are true, then falling from this bridge would result in a one-way trip to the Sea of Nothingness.
The other, he heard a pretty loud siren reverberating through his current location, followed by the sound of heavy steps approaching from behind him. When he turned around to see what it was, what wasn't his surprise at seeing a freaking army of humanoid robots, as if they were straight out of an anime he had watched long ago? But the worst part was that-
They didn't sound or look the least bit friendly.
Without any sort of power or weapon under his disposition for self defense (he'd use his Red Truth blade, but he'd already spent it at previous menaces), Battler was put between a wall and a rock. He either stood here and risked being torn apart by angry robots or he tried crossing the bridge and risked falling at the Abyss, under the hope of finding his wife.
Well... He's already crossed one of these before. Might as well do it again! He started running for his dear life, not dating to waste time by looking at the androids again. He had to run through the plain surfaces, jump or even scale the higher spots, watch his steps at the slops, all while the army went ahead and pursued him.
It was going all fine and dandy... until he made a wrong step and ended up losing balance, that is. Just getting his face flat on the floor wasn't enough, though. The impact was enough to startle this particular part of the bridge, making it crumble right under Battler's feet. He desperately tried climbing out of the opening chasm, but only managed to cling himself to the border of it. Any wrong movement, or any fatigue his already exhausted muscles suffered, and it'd be his end.
Of course, Battler doesn't want to die like this. He still has to reach Beato, he has to survive, he has to fight! However, with both him being unable to climb out of this situation and the robot army steadily approaching, his chances are pretty dim. Only a miracle could save him now.
Good thing he's one to believe in them, isn't it?
"HEEEEEEELP!!!! Someone, help meeeeee!!!!" He shouts to his lungs' maximum capability, hoping someone is hearing him. His only chance of survival is if somebody appears to free him, that's for sure.
