MONACA'S MAGIC

“messing with me isn’t a very good idea, you knooooow?~”

with a sickening smile, she approached the stranger, who she’d noticed that was staring at her quite oddly, almost with anger, and she decided to boldly approach the other, trying to muster the most cold tone that her voice could.

“heeeey!~ do you have any money on you?”

her stomach was rumbling, a little bit too much for her own tastes, sadly-- she left her money in her residence, and she wasn’t going to go back for it, it was a few sectors away from where she was, she didn’t want to know how she would get back-- but right now, she was hungry.

“miss?~ is there something on your hat?”

she asked, quite curiously, the hat had been moving strangely since she sat next to them, did the other girl have a pet in her hat? that was a possibilty monaca could get around to, but still-- she was curious.

“hey! monaca’s good at these! maybe she can help you!”

she couldn’t help but notice the girl playing on a clawing machine, and from what monaca could see, she was doing horribly, she thought this was a good opportunity to gain a child’s trust, the kid looked pretty tough, maybe she had something special to her? she wasn’t sure.

“hmmm....”

“are you the ice cream man?~”

she knew this man wasn’t the ice cream man, of course, since she bothered him while he was doing, well, nothing, and not having any ice creams, not to her knowledge, she just wanted to use a witty follow up to use it on adults, and see how they would react.

“hey! it’s been a while! mister... um...”

she didn’t remember his name, not that he was known for a series-- or something, but he knew how monaca was, at least a little, bit, she was going to keep him at bay-- and shut him up herself if he wanted to reveal her true nature.

“are you okay, miss?”

she gazed upon the older woman, who didn’t seem to be in high spirits, who seemed to be easily manipulated by monaca, but she wasn’t in the mood, and surprisingly, she wanted to genuinely help her out, that never happened.

“miss! miss! can monaca ask you for something??”

she speaks softly, rather distressed, she was in the city a long time ago, and a lot of things had happened-- she wanted to get back in touch.

“hey, mister?”

the girl meekly approached the man, tugging at his sleeve, she had been seeing him around for quite a while, and so, her curiosity got the best of her.

LIKE FOR A STARTER!! 

“monaca also loved her parents! but look what they did to her...”

“see? love is just an excuse to get stuff out of people! it’s stupid! monaca won’t love anyone, since they’ll just try to hurt monaca!”

“and if you’re asking, ‘monaca! what are you doing here?! you’re not in the masterlist!’ and i’ll answer...”

“not yet! if you’re all going to decay in this city, if you will all die once the scientists get tired of you, i will make your existence in here hell while it lasts, and will crush every last bit of hope within all of you, monaca will kill you herself, she will conquer this city and claim it as my kingdom of little weaklings who don’t even get to monaca’s feet!~”

Monaca knew, deep inside of her that she was supposed to know this person, she stared from afar, her pigtails moving with the wind, shining on the wind gracefully, almost from something off a movie, it was surprisingly windy, so it made sense that her hair would flutter at the wind, but it was a beautiful sight for people who didn’t know Monaca.

She held her Monokuma plushie, her memories were a little hazy, but she could make out a name from her hit list, barely, maybe asking the mysterious girl would help? It was a stupid assumption, but she hoped that by asking, she could get the unusual feeling off her stomach.

She approached the other in her wheelchair, looking at the light purple haired girl, she was going to ask, but something feel off, as if she wasn’t supposed to do that, so, she asked anyways, contrary to her feelings.

“...Hey, can i ask you a question?”

She wasn’t the best at doing pranks, but the city had suddenly gone dark, quite literally, the dim lighting on the streets didn’t help, and there was a poor boy in the middle of the sidewalk and so, she approached the other silently, the only noise was the slight running of her wheelchair.

“HEEEEEEY! Do you know where we are?~”

Of course she knew where she was, she just wanted an excuse to scare the poor boy, and she hoped she did, it would be fun to watch if she did succeed in scaring the other.

“Heeeeeeeey, kid, could you take a step forward?”

Oh, how cute, a tiny girl in a wheelchair was asking a man to walk forward, but for what reason you may ask? it’s because, if you take a good look, if time suddenly accelerates, the small kid can get suddenly struck by a NPC! Or even better, a car, but she had to position him first, it could put quite an act but of course, she wasn’t going to say that.

“Y-You’re kind-of blocking Monaca’s waaaaay!~”

“…”

She just looks at him dead in the eyes, piercing on his soul, then she brings her wheelchair close to him, she did felt her skin burn a little bit, never breaking eye contact, Monaca had learned quite a few tricks, and making a really deep voice was one of those, or was it really natural?.

“YOU SHALL REGRET THIS, FOOLISH HUMAN–”

And then a conveniently timed tiny burp.
