Her heart raced sitting beside him as he glanced down to see her reaction to his kiss scene on the screen. Even though her face was burning from embarrassment, and she was a little jealous, she knew it was just work. Calming herself down, she glanced up to see Yanjun staring at, looking a bit offended. She smiled, knowing exactly what he was thinking.
Turning her focus back to the screen to play with him a little, Yanjun let out a sigh and closed the laptop.
“Ey, what are you doing?” she questioned, looking up to him, “It was such a cute scene!”
Reaching over to open the laptop, she was interrupted when Yanjun grabbed her arms, making her face him. She stared innocently into his eyes.
“I’m kissing another girl, aren’t you jealous even a little bit?”
“It’s just acting.” she replied, trying to hold back her laughter.
Yanjun was speechless from her reaction.
“This won’t do, my girlfriend doesn’t even care that I’m kissing someone else.”
He let go of her hands, lightly shoving them away, sulking. His little pout was so adorable, she couldn’t hold back anymore. A smile appeared on her face as she gently hit him in the chest.
“Ey, who said I wasn’t jealous, I’m your girlfriend after all,” she confessed, “If you dare do it in real life, I will…”
Before she could finish, Yanjun interrupted, giving her a quick peck on the lips.
“Kill you…what do you think you’re doing?” her eyes staring firmly into his.
“Claiming you as mine, and I belong to you only.”
She blinked a few times in disbelief and scoffed.
“Lin Yanjun, I think you are getting too into character, how can you say something so cheesy?”
He grinned as she shivered from the cringe. But she secretly loved it and he knew. In the next few seconds, he moved so close the tips of their noses touched. She tried to keep her cool, but the heat radiating from her cheeks weren’t helping.
“It’s only true when I say it to you.”
His words made her heart race.
“I know.” Her adorable voice pulling at his heart.
About to turn away, he grabbed her arms, holding her in place.
“Would you just sit still?”
With that said, Yanjun pressed his lips onto hers. Smiling, she kissed him back. She knew that he loves her, he wouldn’t dare kiss another person if not for work. She loves him and wouldn’t dare to kill him even if he did.
