       Two  clerics  go  to  the  circus,       what  a  bad  joke  to  begin  with.  Ozias  most  likely  muttered  this  line  at  least  three  times  since  they  headed  out,  which  was  equally  parts  funny   &   annoying.  Bernard  decided  to  pull  a  certain  strength  out  of  the  grumbling  drow.

       ❝  Sounds  like  a  strong  'you-problem'. ❞        They  all  could  use  some  time  to  wind  down,  be  normal  everyday  people  if  just  for  an  hour.  Last  time  the  helmite  remembered  visiting  a  circus  must  have  been  in  his  days  as  a  wee  boy.  Fortunately,  Baldur's  Gate  happened  to  humor  one.

       ❝  Ya  need  to  pee  before  we  go  through  the  gate    ?    No  toilet  breaks  while  we  are  in  there. ❞

The idea of facing a terrific if mighty foe wasn't most people's idea of fun--as Sypha had an inkling that Ozias wasn't too thrilled by the prospect--but for the wizard, there was nothing better. With as many risks that came with it, they were nothing if not an adrenaline junkie at heart.

"Don't mind if I do," Sypha answered neatly as their hands balled into fists in anticipation of whatever eldritch abomination they were due to meet. Mystic fire coated their knuckles, and they stepped through the mouth of the cave.

       A  certain  silence  stretched  between  the  pair.       Skeletal  remains  in  nature  were  the  most  normal  things,  that  was  the  circle  of  life   —    Cricket  almost  didn't  notice  it,  if  it  wasn't  for  Ozias'  observation    ;    which  made  the  half  thri-kreen  pause  in  his  steps.  Watching  the  skull.  Perhaps  some  rodent    ?    A  mouse    ?    Most  predators  would  not  simply  leave  the  head  of  their  prey  to  rot   &   dry  out  like  this.  Something  different,  then    ?

       ❝  You  might  be  konfusing  druid  with  nekromancer  .  .  . ❞        Cricket  murmured,  squatting  down,  adjusting  red-tinted  glasses  before  continuing,      ❝ .  .  .  and  I  suppose  you    (  as  a  kleric  )    would  be  able  to  figure  out  what  happened  to  it.  At  least  more  than  I  kould    ? ❞      Tilting  his  head,  the  druid's  gaze  ascends  to  the  half-drow.

       ❝  Klerics  like  burials,  was  that  not  so    ?    Would  you  like  to  burrow  its  remains    ? ❞

Astarion frowns. The vampire spawn knows his eyes talk a lot, and right now, he's so damn annoyed. The other talks too much. But maybe Astarion is just not patient at all. He just wants to keep going. He hates being in this group, and yet... he has to if he wants to finally defeat Cazador. But damn it's annoying.
