Imagine walking on a thin crisp layer of ice,
that lays peacefully,
upon an untouched lake,
owned completely by nature
Imagine the fear that would rush through you as you took one step too heavy,
when you was, only for a brief moment filled with too much confidence,
and you stomped so hard you let nature know you was there,
Imagine the fear that’d rush from your toes to your head, and back again,
as the ice begins to crack,
and suddenly you’re the only ice left, frozen, you hault immediately and watch the cracks spiral away from your inprint, and
Meanwhile,
you feel your body fall from beneath you,
It sets in, that you, you, wasn’t expecting this.
Imagine what feelings might come over you, when your body dunks meters beneath a freezing cold lake that had been, sealed so tightly, so securely, all winter. Imagine the organs in the body, and the shock they might be going through,
and then what about this..
Imagine,
losing consciousness and your body takes control, and all survival instincts lead the way,
You’re now bobbing your head out for air as you reach the surface,
Imagine you are bobbing, up and down
Up and down
In an ice cold lake
You were forced to walk upon, there was no route around, and it was inevitable that you would break the ice, you knew from the very first footstep that the middle of the lake would be weaker,
That the ice would not, and could not bare the weight you are carrying
Imagine the fear strucken look as there was only pure survival, as a lonely individual goal
Imagine,
this is how i felt when I picked up the phone that morning
