I usually don’t think about it, Link is one of those blank slate characters where you’re meant to put yourself into their shoes.  It’s kind of hard to do with 3D Link since they’ve gradually given him more personality in each game, but 2D Link is usually really easy to put yourself into their shoes ( with the one exception being maybe the DS games )

When I do imagine a personality for each one, as much as some people wouldn’t want to hear this, but for NES Link, I look at the cartoon. I don’t know, it doesn’t seem to be ill fitting, I don’t think he’s constantly creeping on Zelda  though. To me, I imagine NES Link being kind of a goof ball who actually has a lot of fun on his adventures, despite how dangerous they are, and prefers a more out-doors lifestyle than living in a castle.  Maybe he matures up by the time of Zelda 2 and starts to take things more seriously. When he gets older I see him as more of a bleeding heart type character that does everything he can to help anyone who appears in need.

I picture ALTTP/LA Link a little more serious than the one from the NES. I imagine him being very friendly, most of the people in the light world already seem to know and trust Link ( with the only exceptions being the two ladies that call the guards on him ), he seems a lot more cautious and inquisitive to me, but when stakes are high he usually does act before he thinks.

not really!! late at night im more active + talkative generally but theres not too big of a change!!

slumber: what's one thing that helps you fall asleep when it feels impossible?

didnt you hear the news? you can just call words "made up" if youve never heard of them + are too lazy to google them now :/
