Daisies,

Mellow sounds,

Peach colored cheeks.

How could you stand there?

While stealing my meek heart.

Making me weak on my knees.

Cursing Eros for stabbing me

with his goddamn arrow, for making

me fall for a person whom I cannot have.

You.

I'll have

Amnesia.

My mind wiped clean;

Everyone has left;

My eyes searching for clues;

Frustration taking over;

Answers wanted yet nothings there.

An image appears; smiling, arms wide.

like a momentary matchstick glow—

you’ll waste the whole box while trying

to read your lines in the dark.

so choose to see by grace.

it’s like the sun, or

the brightness of

a billion

brilliant

stars.

light,

harnessed

for a life

of freedom and

unconditional

love, always for you and

never against you because

the fight is different with grace;

your foes are no longer daunting while
