4. likely my most recent pokefic, room 202. i honestly love the pokemon za world and would really enjoy exploring it more—in fact, i constantly toy with the idea of writing a fic on the events of the dlc, which i feel have some good hidden story potential.

11. man this is a tough question haha. sometimes i write something and i’m like ‘oh this fucks.’ but i also say that when i bake a really good sweet potato, so. maybe my standards are pretty silly.

this line was the first line i thought of, from my fic eterna. i developed a very descriptive and innocent, yet visceral voice for hikari, so there are many lines in her inner dialogues that i love. this line is post-banishment from jubilife village, where hikari realizes that she has been truly abandoned.

Hikari thinks of nothing as she wanders, no destination in mind. She knows what will become of the people she asks for help. They will be swallowed. So she will not ask anyone for help. Togekiss are lonely creatures, so she will stay lonely. Her wings flutter, and they mark her. Cloud-being. Sky-faller.

this is from chapter three, the glass basin. it’s one of my favorite chapters that i’ve written—there’s so much raw emotion. i hope to pick this fic up again at some point ‘cause i love writing hikari. 🙂‍↕️

12. probably smooth operator. it definitely isn’t my best work technically, but the characters and story have a special place in my heart.
