P.S. Yon gifts her the biggest teddy bear in the galaxy and Carol gets him an otter onesie and underwear with hearts on it because she wanted new gift-wrapping to rip off of him ;)

The cutest image just came into my head of Yon helping sooth her to sleep because she gets restless and overly energetic and she needs to be wound down and relaxed and sometimes she just has trouble falling asleep because nightmares are still a bitch. And so they have this shared activity: he reads out loud to her while she's settled comfortably with her head on his shoulder and you wouldn't expect it of him but he's really good at doing different character voices and he gets so into it sometimes he doesn't notice when she's dozed off already, and when he does he just looks at her peaceful face and smiles softly and continues reading for a little while enjoying the rare precious time with her when it's quiet and still...
