ONE STEP AT A TIME. — I’m the type of person who has a long to-do and to-achieve list. But my boss always says, “one at a time.” There is a perfect time for everything. — 2016 was the time the for me to leave sunny and hazy Singapore and move to Canada—a country with 4 lovely seasons. It was a big move. Alone in a huge country. But it was also the time that I met my ❤️. — 2017 was the time I focused on working full-time + part-time + self-studying for the PEBC exams + working out more regularly + exploring some parts of Canada + moving to a new home. — 2018 was just finishing my PEBC exams and looking forward to internship. Or at least, that’s what I thought. But my sister got diagnosed with cancer—Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It was a very stressful time in our lives and I just had to go back to Manila. Thankfully, her 6 month-long chemotherapy went well and she’s almost back to normal. We’re just waiting on the next PET CT scan scheduled in September. — So whenever you feel overwhelmed with the things you need to do, pause for a moment and reflect on your priorities. And just take it ONE STEP AT A TIME. ❤️ — 📸: @demetvasquez — #esplanaderiel #theforks #theforkswinnipeg #winnipeg #manitoba #ywg #wpg #exploremb #travelmanitoba #achiever #dreamer #mantra #believer #nature #citylife #park (at Esplanade Riel)
