I had a dream that Xander was turned and didn't immediately start terrorizing his loved ones, but also didn't want to have a no-happiness curse put on him or be treated like Spike. Or worse than Spike, since he didn't have a chip. But he couldn't very well express that without inadvertently asking the scoobies to reexamine some long-standing beliefs regarding souls (and Spike), and he wasn't entirely willing to reconsider his opinions on Spike himself.

I don't think I have one hero. Like, I dig Tony Stark, but I think you mean someone real. A lot of my friends are heroes?
My roommates are heroes, my friends are heroes. A lot of people I spend time around are heroes. They don't always remember that, but they are.
