I always admire these candles in Cyrodiil. Wish we had some with a warm, reddish color like that. Ideally, this tiny color-changing flame idea could help with candles too (albeit taking slots):
Combine the most useful effects of existing lights into one –
One light to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them!

Combine the most useful effects of existing lights into one –

Intro:
I'm always wishing we could have lights in different colors like we see around Tamriel...
...Without making them way too bright or losing tons of slots to stacking. Hue / Saturation / Brightness sliders would be ideal!
But I kind of doubt it's possible, considering the colored lanterns coming in U49. It also seems inefficient to make every type of lantern in multiple colors...
So instead,
Would it be possible to create a tiny orb or flame with the following qualities:
Approx. the size & brightness of a Replica Dreamshard:
Tiny so it can be hidden in most existing lights. Not too bright so they can be stacked or toggled for more brightness – instead of overwhelming a space, over-exposing / blowing everything out, & ruining dramatic lighting. (E.g. Psijic Lighting Globe, Small is a good size, but WAY too bright unless you're lighting a giant cave.)
–
Like Redguard Bottle, Glowing and Eerie Lantern, Hanging – shines through other surfaces you put them in. This way you can sink them into other lights in an OFF state, to make it look like the containing lamp is shining.
–
And like Spellscar Shard (and Totem of the Sixth House): able to light surfaces even if placed behind or under them. This creates believable illumination even if the light is hidden.
–
Toggle states like Hlaalu Lamp, Enchanted:
3 different lamps from dim / med / bright; each has a toggle for different colors. OR vice versa: lights in different colors, & each one has ~3 toggle states for brightness. This way they can be combined to create additional colors & light levels.
–
BONUS: Another, separate version of this proposed Voltron light as a directional light like Solitude Lantern, Table xD

There are other great lights for adding warmth or color; just not mentioned because they don't have these unique effects / not relevant to the idea here.
Also, it's one thing to see these on a dark beach with nothing nearby, but entirely another in context. So here's a few examples in my homes; see ALT:

I like the textures and light quality of these newer crystals. Lighting is always a struggle; really wish we had hue and brightness sliders. But since we don't, I'd rather have a too-dim light that I can at least brighten by stacking 2+ (even despite slot anxiety) v.s. a way-too-bright one I might like the look of but can't turn on because it ruins the scene's mood.
