Roughly based on another dream I had recently.
I don't think the grey one is fully robot (despite how I drew her). At least in the dream she was originally human but was "upgraded". Anyway the idea behind the red one is that it's the sentient manifestation of the building's sprinkler system. Her name is ESFR.
Neither of these designs feel super finalized to me but I needed to give them *some* form of design since how they looked in the dream escapes me.
So this comes about because Grey (placeholder name btw) needed to get to one of the top floors but you need a security card to get up there. However, the doors must unlock if there is a fire for obvious safety reasons. So she started a fire.
ESFR: WHY DID YOU START A FIRE?? ESFR: OH NO NO NO THIS IS BAD!! Grey: Do your job then. ESFR: I WAS TOLD IT WILL OPEN THE DOORS!! I CAN'T LET YOU UP!! ESFR: PLEASE PUT OUT THE FIRE!! Grey: Well too bad. I started the fire with the explicit purpose of you opening the doors. ESFR: HOW COULD YOU?? Grey: Just activate the sprinkler. Do you really think the building burning down is better than letting me up? ESFR: ... ESFR: ... Grey: ... ESFR: Fine.
*Grey disconnects* *The sprinkler system is on*
Grey: Easy.
(The downside to getting up to the next floors this way is any documents you missed may be ruined.)
