A pirate Gaster drawing. This trend kicks ass.
I've been thinking about the placeholder enemy ECHIDNA. So here's some art of them.
If you don't know Echidna, watch this video.
I believe that this odd creature we see in Ralsei's Ch3 dark world explanation might be Echidna. Basically this thing is serpentine, which the original Greek Echidna also was. The purple and green is connected to the concept of freedom, same with pink and gold. Go read this post for more info on that. So the idea is that an unused placeholder enemy actually showing up would be a great tie in to the freedom stuff. Anyway it's probably not actually going to appear, but that's my interpretation.

Day 1 and the art fight website is down. Oh well.
My cool new OC Porphyry. I wanted to challenge myself this year's art fight so I drew a more humanoid design. I usually avoid it because I'm not great at anatomy.
The entire concept for her design came from a dream I had where there was a giant mechanical orrery like system in a water planet. I call this the Aquatic Orrery. Here's a rough mock up of what it would look like:
Anyway I needed some sort of character to be in this universe I dreamt up, so I figured "moths like light, and the central light of this place is in its abyssal depths, so let's combine a moth and an angler fish". And from that followed the idea that she'd be an engineer for maintaining the sun.

I was inspired to make a quick edit. The oddly placed dirt pile gave me the vibes of a video game.
Thinking again about how there's a couple moments in Chapter 4 where Ralsei flies and this is just, not brought up by anyone. Hoping this will get mentioned in Chapter 5. It probably will since we see him flying in the trailer.
