This was a lot to take in, even for him.  What was Easter?  Some kind of celebration?  And why was there a rabbit involved?  And why did it bring baskets?  Also, what did any of this have to do with eggs?

She followed closely behind the purple feline, their meager groceries clutched tightly in her hands. She was getting anxious. Partially because the strap for the instrument case on her shoulder was starting to slip off. Partially because there had been so many people in that little grocery store. And the other part was because the pokeball in the pocket of her oversized hoodie was clicking. A sure sign that the aggressive dragon type in the pokeball was getting annoyed at being in his pokeball for so long.

But as she and Quiz were passing through the seedier side of this little town there was a nagging feeling that was starting to overtake her anxieties. Though those were calming a little now that there less people around. She almost tripped over the huge Espeon as he stopped right in the middle of the path they were walking.

Try as she might, Lily simply could not shake the tinge of guilt she felt about the whole ordeal. Admittedly, she’d begun this whole mess by telling Lydia not to go after the boy, but she seemed so smitten (while also so disheartened by a previous relationship), that Lily felt... maybe it would be alright. Surely her interest in Esaias would wane before too long. Between not getting to see his face and barely getting to interact with him.

Unfortunately, it only managed to endear him to her more. Which was dangerous.

Esaias continued to make loud teenager grumbling.  Well, he’d been pretty sure that the vision he’d been in the middle of hadn’t been particularly profitable (tragic, but not profitable) and sighed as he hung up before giving one more exasperated groan like it would be the death of him if he didn’t complain loudly to no one in particular and rolling out of bed to get his hair and clothes in order... and Celia.

Honey and fruit were pretty good motivators for him, not that he would ever admit it.

Why the hell was she making that face?!  It wasn’t that big of a deal, right?  Was she just that happy that her birthday was being celebrated?  Or was it because-

No no no.  Absolutely not.

“Great... I brought the ingredients,” he grumbled as he made his way inside.

Celia stood off to the side, happily following him in with a smug grin that made her look like a gremlin.
