how about 7, 11 & 12 for team spark & Co? C:
7. Is there something that could cause your oc to question their identity? What?
Felicity is currently straight but. Marlow and Sakura make her question that all the time LOL. Otherwise she's good
Bit of a boring answer but I can't really think of anything for the other characters sfkshfdf. Maybe if Sakura ever evolved into Kleavor/Scizor he'd have a bit of a crisis? But I dunno, that'd definitely be more about personality than queer identity imo
11. Is your oc open about their identity? Are they more lowkey or more blunt about it? Why or why not?
In my PMDverse, queerness is largely accepted, and the cases where it isn't are rather specific. (IE: some Pokemon think that evolving inherently changes you into a different person altogether. Those Pokemon tend to be more closed-minded about trans Pokemon) So these might be a bit boring sdlfsj
Felicity: She's pretty lowkey in that it doesn't really come up in conversation a lot, but she doesn't mind talking about it! She's just shy about personal details about her life.
Aisling: Kinda famously a lesbian who Cannot Get Bitches. I'm sorry for this character bit, Aisling, I promise it's because I love you. She tends to fall head over heels very easily and get her hopes up, but sadly her relationships are sort of short-lived. Maybe one day, girl.
Marlow: Also lowkey in that he's not really looking for a relationship so it doesn't come up. He's bigender but he's okay with being called Valerie's brother primarily (though he's also happy to be called her sister interchangably)
Sakura Jade: Very open about it, open and proud GNC lesbian. He's gay married even. He wants to get even more gay married, even. (in that he's polyamorous)
12. Does/did your oc ever wish they could change the way they are? Why? If it's in the past, how did they get over the feeling? (this can be about internalized homo/transphobia)
Not really for the first three, but somewhat yes for Sakura Jade in that they really really hated themself as a kid and would have preferred to be anything but a Scyther at the time, and thought they'd never be happy. I can see them thinking that they just wouldn't be able to pull off their ideal presentation as they are, so it's not worth it.
Kind of a boring answer, but his mama, Maya ("Mamaya" as he called her sometimes. Name he came up with as a baby that stuck.) helped him a lot, because she was very much in the same boat as him as a kid. Said that he shouldn't let his appearance get in the way of doing what he liked, and he pushed on with his dreams with her and Cheri's support, and fought to get where he was at their encouragement.
