Speaking of, one such anomaly was sitting down beside him on his right, quietly looking out to the sky. Error stared at him, his mouth gaping as he took him in. He should have been confused as he looked at him, he should have been wondering when he got here, how he got there so quietly, if he was a threat, or countless other much more important things. Instead, all he could think about was how the stars weren't the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen anymore. This monster was absolutely breathtakingly perfect. Error quickly shook his head free from his thoughts and pointedly stared to his left, away from this weirdly appealing monster.

It was silent for quite some time before the monster quietly spoke up, "You know, I see you sitting out here by yourself pretty often. I know it's a nice view to enjoy all alone, but I figured that you wouldn't mind some company every once in a while." He smiled at Error and stuck out his hand, "I'm Outer, what's your name?"

Error stared down at his extended hand before slowly raising his eyes to meet his gaze.

"Huh."

Outer blinked as he lowered his hand. Quickly, he grinned and said, "Well, that's a pretty star-tling choice of name, but I guess not everything can mete-or expectations."

There was a quick pause before Error finally got a hold of himself, laughing a bit as he said, "Hey, there's a real gravity to this situation, okay? Being named 'Huh' has caused me a lot of problems and confusion! Don't even get me star-ted." Outer's grin got bigger as he laughed loudly.

The two sat there for a while, exchanging puns and eventually Error's real name. They talked and got to know each other, smiling and just enjoying each others' company. Time passed and they got much more comfortable in each other's presence than either of them had expected.

"So, why do you come out here all the time, anyways?" Outer asked him, facing him directly now as they had both abandoned the stars to properly look at each other. Error paused for a moment, looking up at the sky and contemplating.

"Well, it's just… I don't know. It's nice here. It's quiet and I can have time to just… to just do nothing and be nothing and just…" He sighed, "I don't know. It's just nice here." He continued to stare up to the stars above, watching them twinkle and shine. Outer lifted his gaze to watch as well.

"Yeah, I get that. A lot of people come here to just… breathe. They come to relax and unwind and hey, I'm not gonna stop 'em. It's a nice place, trust me I know." He replied softly, marking the stars and constellations in the sky that he'd known for practically his whole life. He didn't notice that Error had looked down and was now watching him instead. The two were silent for a while, just content to sit there together and enjoy the view.

"You know, I think you were right…"

"Huh? About what?"

"… It is nice to have some company every once in a while."
