I’m gonna take this one since we’re mid-event right now, and Caddy isn’t aware of the video game ‘Cuphead’. Hope that’s okay!Anyway, speaking as the mun, Caddy’s design choices were partly influenced by Cuphead! I designed him over a year ago, but comparisons between the two are inevitable now the game is actually out - even though there were other influences as well, from other people’s RP characters to RGB from ‘The Property of Hate’ to other Undertale AUs.But all art is derivative to some extent - according to Wikipedia, Cuphead himself is derived from a design in a 1936 Japanese film. And I feel like after such a long time, Caddy has very much become his own thing. So i’m just gonna leave this here as an answer to all the people who inevitably do point out the similarities, or ask if Caddy is related to Cuphead, or something similar.Thanks for visiting the blog, and have a good evening!- Tea!Mun

i don’t think he really has a problem with simply playing the game. If he had the option to play pacifist, he might’ve even enjoyed it.
But the fact that he’s being forced to play a genocide route from the start makes the experience... much less pleasant. :p
