Hi and welcome! In my experience, “getting into” Knightblr was simply a matter of making a blog, reblogging lots of knightblr posts and maybe putting my thoughts in the tags, and eventually reaching out to people if I wanted to add onto one of their posts. Most of us are open to DMs for that kind of thing, but make sure you check peoples’ pinned posts first!

There is some lore between some people in the community, but there’s no rules about engaging with it. If you’re unsure, I’m always a proponent of checking in with a person before adding onto their posts. Alternatively, you don’t have to engage with any “lore” at all, you can just post what you like!

As for sapphic knights and others in the community, I’ll open that up to others to comment on this! If you’re reading this and you’re a sapphic knight, chime in or reply! Let’s help find this person their people!

🪞 What do they secretly hate about their own appearance?

Sir Errant would say that he looks weak, because he's largely comparing himself to his fellow knights. He isn't bursting with muscle, and so he feels that he has to work twice as hard to be effective, or for that matter, taken seriously. After all, knights should look brutal and scary, shouldn't they?

⚔️ How do they act when they're furious but have to stay polite?

Errant isn't the best at faking his emotions, so he'll do his best to bite his tongue and at least hide the rage. If he goes suddenly quiet and won't respond with anything other than curt nods or gestures, he's probably furious. His helmet's visor has saved him more than once from obviously glaring at the wrong person.

🎁 What gift would utterly destroy them (in a good/bad way)?

Trust. Errant has spent a lot of his life with his decisions being made for him because it was assumed that others knew better what was best for him. If someone gives him their trust, especially if it's given explicitly, and double-especially if it's from a person he admires or cares for, it's the most meaningful thing he can be given. It can cause him to panic a little, because what if their trust in him is for nothing and he can't live up to it? But his determination is often stronger than his fear in this case.

🍽️ What meal do they cook when they need to feel like themselves again?

As simple as it sounds, bread and butter. Errant grew up being passed back and forth between two main locations, two cultures, two lifestyles, but the constant was bread and butter. When nothing in his life is certain, this can make him feel grounded again.
