Hey Erin! I was wondering how you feel about Lloyd, and what kind of dynamic you two have? Hope you have a nice day! <3

#10 for the writers ask!
Thanks!
10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?
Haunted means it won't leave me.
Most of the work that "haunts" me is from my three favorite science fiction authors.
The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas by Ursula K Le Guin - I read it in university and it has never left me. I think about it regularly and re-read it often. I recommend it to everyone. It's free to read here.
Lilith's Brood series by Octavia Butler is an amazing parallel for colonization and slavery and survival and what we do for or children. How do humans as people shift things and survive that.
The Broken Earth Chronicles by N.K. Jemsin. I honestly haven't finished the trilogy due to the level that this story has haunted me. The first book was chilling and beautiful and amazing. The second book, though, I thought about for a solid four months afterwards consistently. I could barely teach. I would be mid-sentence and the story would just pull me back in.
Has my own writing haunted me...Oh, I feel like a few have. The stories I'm trying to write that won't seem to finish. A few I'm really attached to. The pieces that insisted on being written and wouldn't leave me alone until they were done. So many ways to be haunted by a piece.
Weird Asks for Writers
I go back to the office on Monday, which means I’m going to be spending a lot of time on the bus commuting. During the commute, I like to listen to podcasts, but I only listen to two so I burn through episodes pretty quickly.
Do you guys have any favorite podcasts? Anything related to history, learning new stuff, television, and pop culture is what I usually listen to, but I’ll pretty much listen to anything once!

65 Questions You Aren’t Used To
Pick up line! -leans against wall- Hey. Care to join me? -slides down wall crying about how difficult life is-
I feel you bro.
-rolls off couch and lays facedown on floor- Maybe someone will come by to pick us up.
Sending another pickup line! She is beauty, she is grace I'd thank her if she slapped my face
.... How did you know anon? HOW DID YOU KNOW?!
10/10 would respond to pick-up line.
