( not even a damn text ! Nothing. Of course I'm pissed ! ) "But you... you disappeared as if I were the worst disease on Earth." Body language actually talked more than words in this moment. Arms crossed over her chest, she looked ridiculously cute in socks, old clothes before her front door and a determined look. "You really think I waited for you ?"

   ❝ oh, please, john. surprise visits are more enlightening than planned ones. ❞  her tone was pleasant as she paraded around his residence, peeking around at things without actually going through his stuff. it wasn’t personal ; she was just nosy, and she knew that if there was something he didn’t want her seeing, it wouldn’t have been left out in the open. or . . at least that’s how she rationalized it. taking a sip of her drink that she poured herself from the contents in his fridge, she turned on her heel to look at him.  ❝ it’s been a while, love. we’ve both been very busy, i assume. a text just . . would not have sufficed. ❞
