I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite, nonnie, and not just because it’s in my rules that I don’t. I will say that Eric is the hot dreamy ex-king, Richard is the hot king ex-king, and Arthur is the hot angsty ex-king. I’d happily love a round with each of them if given the chance.

When she’s not a raging asshole like she has been the last few weeks, Belle is A+ mommy material. If she and Eric manage to find a way to work it out and end up together, I think she’ll be a great step-mom to Lukas.

How do you expect him to act? His girlfriend, if we can even call Belle that anymore, is acting like a complete bitch. Don’t you think you’d be a little grumpy too?

BIOGRAPHY

Prince Eric was raised by his father’s advisor and other royal staff after his father was killed in a war before his birth and his mom died giving birth.  He wanted for nothing physical, but everything emotional.  He took the throne at the tender age of sixteen, and took on the additional pressure of finding a wife at eighteen because it would help him be taken more seriously.  He was handsome, more interested in seafaring than dating and being like other royalty in Europe, but it still wasn’t enough for him to be seen as a proper king. The trouble was, in all his longing, he’d become an idealistic romantic, knowing there was someone out there he could share his life with and love, who would love him in return.  She would fill the missing pieces in and he didn’t want to marry someone just for the sake of getting married.  He wanted to find his other half and build the family he’d never really had.

One night, while he was out on the sea, he got caught up in a storm and sunk his boat. He nearly drown, but was saved somehow.  When he came to, all he could remember was a beautiful voice and the blurry image of a beautiful woman.  He never fully understood what happened.  As his memories solidified a little, he managed to find her, thinking she might be the one he was meant to marry.  She was convent-bound, though, and he was heartbroken. He returned home and threw himself in the project of caring for a displaced, young redhead he’d found on the same beach he’d washed up on several months before.  He took her in, nursed her back to health, and took pride in watching her dance.  In his mind, she became a little sister during that time, and a staple in the castle.

Some months later, he’d begun a rigorous travel schedule, and happened upon the woman who had saved him all those months before.  She had decided not to devote herself to the Church and was free to marry.  She swore it was because of the handsome stranger she’d met, him, though she’d made no effort to contact him.  She was everything he’d hoped for her and was immediately swept up in love, lust, wedding plans.

After their honeymoon, he returned home to find the girl he’d been caring for gone.  He searched for her, of course, but was never able to find her.  He wasn’t ever able to fully devote his attention to the search, though, because his new bride was already expecting a child, a little prince they called Lukas.  She never fully recovered, though, and faded away before his eyes.  When they were transported to Fableton, his wife died, unable to handle the strain.  He was a single father in a new land, and had to find his feet fast.  Relying on his memories of a slightly crazy and definitely entertaining chef, he learned how to be a chef himself and opened a luxurious restaurant in town.

CONNECTIONS

Ariel Trident: The girl is a like a little sister to him, though he hasn’t seen her in years. He’s a bit protective of her, but he doesn’t know what  her job actually is. If he did, he would probably try to move her somewhere else.

 The role of Eric Moyer will henceforth be faced by Colin Donnell.

Biography

Prince Eric was born into the lap of luxury. He had everything he could possibly want at the tip of his fingertips. Everything but a set of parents to raise him and teach him how to be king. His father had died in a war before he was born and his mother died in childbirth. As a result, he was raised by a nursemaid and his father’s most respected advisor. He started to rule when he turned sixteen, and had the pressure to find a wife turned on him when he turned eighteen. For the most part, Eric ignored the pushing, though he did want to find someone to share his life with. His kingdom had suffered for a while, but it was beginning to become prosperous again and he wanted to share it with someone special, he just didn’t want to settle. 

He thought he found her the night of a terrible storm. He was out on the sea, his favorite place when it struck. He nearly drown, but somehow washed up on shore still alive. A girl pulled him to safety, the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. He fell in love, but she was a nun, obviously having dedicated her life to service of God and couldn’t marry. He went home, moping around for months. His life brightened a little when a small redheaded girl somehow wound up in his care. She was young and pretty and danced like the wind, and he saw her as a little sister. 

When he was twenty-one, he went to a neighboring kingdom to meet the king’s daughter. There, he found it was the same girl that had rescued him the night of the storm. They immediately chose to marry and were swept into a whirlwind of happiness. It wasn’t until after their honeymoon that Eric realized the girl he’d been taking care of was gone. He looked for her, worried that she’d been hurt, but never found her. Soon, all of his time was taken up with his new wife and the child he had. But when they were all forced through to the other side, his bride couldn’t handle the strain, as she was already weak and sick. She died, leaving Eric as a single father in a new land. 

He’s doing all he can to make it, and owns a fancy seafood restaurant now to support him and his son.
