Even though Cedar Waxwings can be found on my side of Maryland, I was properly introduced to one who landed near my feet in western Vermont. Now that I'm back home, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for those white and yellow markings.
This watercolor is the first of a new series of animal paintings. Are there any birds or other wildlife you'd like to see from me?
The next addition to my series of Recorders prints will be a seven-color reduction, and my first attempt at something so complicated using registration pins on the etching press. I'm very excited to give myself this opportunity to learn something new and render my artwork in a new way.
