Sure, the Trump administration is deporting a lot of people, but over at the U.S. Agency for Global Media, Senior Adviser Kari Lake is going above and beyond. She’s trying to deport her own employees at Voice of America, a government-funded news outlet.  Lake has overseen the destruction of Voice of America and USAGM, slashing 85% of their staff, with a plan to eventually replace the venerable institution with D-list right-wing content from One America News Network. Many people she fired were, unsurprisingly, not native-born American citizens, because VOA’s international broadcasts required a large number of highly fluent translators and broadcasters.  Those workers usually had J-1 visas, which are issued to students, au pairs, doctors, professors, scholars, and specialists, among others. The problem is that the VOA’s J-1 visas are tied to their continued employment by USAGM. Since Lake fired them, they have 30 days to leave the country or find an alternative way to stay here.  These fired workers face a huge crisis. Do they return to their home countries? Apply for asylum here? What about those people who are from a country where they will be harmed if they return?  Lake doesn’t care. To her, it’s a big joke—literally. She joshed with right-wing media hack Eric Bolling, saying, “If I have to go to the airport with them, and accompany them to the airport and get them on the flight, I will do that.” When Bolling said they could instead go to Florida’s immigrant detention facility in the Everglades, the so-called “Alligator Alcatraz,” where human rights abuses are rampant, Lake laughed.

“If you overstay your visa, ICE is going to find you,” she said. “And they will find you in this case as well.” 

Kari Lake is a no-class disgrace to USAGM and VOA.

Eric Bolling, who parted ways with Fox News in 2017 amid sexual misconduct allegations, is now leaving the wannabe Fox News competitor he joined in 2021. Pro-Trump cable news channel Newsmax confirmed on Friday that Bolling had departed the network, noting that they had “mutually agreed” to end his primetime program The Balance. According to a network spokesperson, a temporary replacement show will take its place starting Monday with a rotating slate of hosts until a new show is announced this summer. “Newsmax wishes Eric Bolling well in his future endeavors,” the spokesperson added. “The network looks forward to an exciting period this election season which will include our nightly news coverage with Greta Van Susteren, Rob Schmitt, Greg Kelly and Chris Plante.” In a statement to Mediaite, which first broke the news of Bolling’s departure, the MAGA personality suggested that his exit from Newsmax was due to another gig.

[...] During his Thursday night broadcast, which largely focused on raging against former President Donald Trump's felony conviction, Bolling did not note at any point that it would be his last show, nor did he issue a final farewell to viewers.

MAGA media figures are coping with former President Donald Trump’s ongoing criminal hush money trial in New York by attacking Judge Juan Merchan and his daughter, calling for Trump to be sent to prison in order to fundraise off his trial, and railing against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.  The trial stems from allegations that Trump falsified records behind a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election to keep her from releasing information about a sexual encounter the two had in 2006.

Donald Trump-endorsed reporter Brian Glenn is leaving Real America’s Voice.

Glenn, who Trump only last week said he loves, announced his departure from the pro-MAGA streaming platform on Thursday, just one week after the president made a snide comment about his fiancée, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.). Glenn said he will now focus on life with Greene, the former Trump loyalist who has become a fierce critic of the president over his Iran war and his administration’s apparent reluctance to release files on late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a onetime close associate of Trump. In an interview Thursday with Eric Bolling of Real America’s Voice, Glenn admitted he had been “kind of the MAGA mouthpiece, if you will, for the Trump ‘America First’ agenda.” “But this past Sunday, sitting at home in Georgia, I decided that it’s time to ― and I’ll use a MMA reference ― it’s time to leave the gloves in the ring and walk away from what I really consider has been a great career,” Glenn explained. “It’s been a great time with Real America’s Voice. It’s been fantastic working with you.”

“I have no plans to go jump into a competitor,” he said. “That’s not what I’m going to do. I’m gonna take some time off. I’m going to kind of relax, get my health back to where it needs to be, reconnect with some of these relationships with my family that I have neglected over the last seven, eight years, and really kind of enjoy life a little bit.” Glenn also revealed that he and Greene will tie the knot soon. “And of course, Marjorie and I, planning a wedding likely before the end of the year. That’s a little bit of breaking news on here as well,” he said. “Focus on that but really focus on each other. And I think that this campaign can be grueling. It can really kind of drain the life out of a lot of people. And I’m 56 years old. I’m not a young kid anymore.”

A former Democratic fundraiser who left the party following the November election and declared herself a Republican — clashing with Democratic Party leaders on her way out — took to a right-wing network on Tuesday to declare she really has switched parties. "I called you a Trojan horse because I'm not sure you're truly conservative or not," said host Eric Bolling. "So let's just do this now —" Lindy Li interjected before he could finish, refuting the allegation. "Eric, I'm not trying to sell it," she began. When Bolling asked Li if he could ask her a series of questions testing her ideologies, Li said she could "make it even easier." [...] Li then tried to make it "simple" for Bolling. "I'm far right on everything," she declared. She and Bolling clashed when Li insisted she "wasn't wrong" on the issues while a Democrat.

Appearing on former Newsmax and Fox host Eric Bolling’s Real America’s Voice program Bolling! Tuesday, ex-Dem-turned-right-wing grifter Lindy Li was aggressively confronted about her sudden political shift by Bolling.
