Erase Me by Josh Silver
I loved this book for it's sci-fi elements, mystery, and world building. This book had me feeling like I was putting together a puzzle (in a good way), every twist and detail was a new puzzle piece that clued us in on the ending. When I had to put the book down, I was still left thinking about the characters and what might happen next. The pacing of the book was good and the world building was phenomenal.
Now on to the hardest part of any book review... What didn't work for me. The book makes references to movies, TV shows, and characters I don't know much about (if anything). Now this is totally a personal thing and I don't think it really impacts the story too much, but I'm also left wondering if I would connect to the characters more if I saw the movie, TV show, or character they are referencing?
I would recommend this book to anyone who were a fan of Josh Silver's HappyHead. If you like the mystery, intrigue, and pacing of HappyHead, then you're in luck with this book. Fans of Adam Silvera's They Both Die At End will enjoy the world building and how the story just clicks throughout.
