We must end our reliance on big telecom monopolies and build decentralized, affordable, locally owned internet infrastructure.
Net Neutrality should not be taken away from us, thatβs the bottom line. But even with Net Neutrality, many places-- neighborhoods, towns, rural areas, predominantly poc areas, in the United States are not serviced by any internet providers. So theyβre building their own. Thatβs Digital Justice. Itβs already in motion all over the United States, and you might see more of it if Net Neutrality is rolled back. I think it could be a wonderful thing to take our digital lives in our own hands.
