What I really don't bloody get is people who call themselves a feminist but hate on men. Like no if you want equity don't hate on men, that's not being equal now is it. Men get just as much shit as we do, just because your to up yourself or uneducated to see that doesn't mean you can say "oh only women get raped" "girls can never go out these days because we will get raped" "only guys do that to girls" Okay. Okay no. Guys get raped, by other men and women also you know what even women get raped my other women. Stop man hating, honestly sure some dickheaded guys say some bad things but so do us girls. IT'S TIME
The United States and Ireland just made marriage equality legal. Australia is lagging behind by denying loving gay and lesbian couples the right to marry.
I call on the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and the Liberal Party to allow a free vote on the upcoming marriage equality bill.
As a catholic i have had a lot of people ask me about my thoughts on the gay marriage ruling today and i just thought i would give my opinion real quick. I wouldnt say that i’m for or against gay marriage because to be honest i really don’t care. its legal now okay whatever. no one is going to die from this happening no harm will come so who cares. as christians we should be putting as much energy into fighting the injustices of the world. like hunger, poverty, lack of accessible healthcare, abortion, and so on. gay marriage being legal isnt a big deal. its not an atrocity thats going to burn the world down. get over it. put that negative energy into a positive project on a matter that is in line with the church and is actually causing harm to people on the planet. for me personally as long as the church remains free to practice her beliefs i see no problem. the day the government forces churches to recognize and perform gay marriages is the day i will have a problem with this ruling. until then go have fun, celebrate! enjoy your victory and we can all live in peace.
