Despite the best efforts of September, autumn is officially here.

Typical weather usually means many changing seasons in the space of a day. You blast yourself with heat when you get in the car in the morning to go the yard and by lunch time you’re sweltering at +20C.

For this reason I think a gilet’s an essential item to own. Mine get lots of use throughout the year, e.g. when it’s on the cool side in the changeable seasons of autumn or spring and as an extra layer of defence in the winter.
