why you scared.. thanks tho, i'll try to stick around for the new season <3 not sure if it's a story so much as standard brainworms -> ship-tuationing but it goes something like this: guy who's had destructive relationship with sex and women is in love with best friend, finds that his hangups with intimacy get less (and more) uneasy with someone he likes. when you think he's starting to figure out the feelings and closeness and real squishy humanity of it all, it ends up exploited in the growing schism between them, and the callousness of the person who you've shown yourself to and should know better hurts so viscerally. can i trust you? did you ever love me back? (the answer is: no, then yes, still do)
