Let's begin to say that I'm not quite the fastest to grow up and mature. I've made poor choices in life that I will probably reflect back to years from now and not understand why those choices were made. However being in college has really changed the way I perceive certain things.  I've been able to acquire really great life lessons in the most unimaginable way.

Sometimes growing up has to be done the hard way. Mistakes are simply mistakes. And honestly, I don't really understand what truly defines a "mistake."  Most of the time it's a blessing in disguise. I'm truly happy to be where I am today.  I've learned a great deal of myself and how I absolutely want to live my life. There's always going to be people that envy you or despise you for a particular reason, but you know what? It just simply doesn't matter.  You define yourself.

My future is a great deal of importance.  As boring as classes are, I love to continue to learn. Throughout my years in college, I've taken a myriad of courses that helped me grow and be open to new things. I've put myself into various disciplines and fields of study, such as business/economics, technology, philosophy, religion, world languages, legal studies, nutrition, and even environmental sciences. 

Each of these classes taught me many things and most importantly what I want to do with my life.  I strive to become the best person as I can be.  I want to be successful in my concentration/degree (eventually in the government) while at the same time helping the world.  I try to be as open to new ideas and have my mind constantly thinking and flowing.  Also, I want to travel the world and experience different cultures. 

At the University of Georgia, it gave me the opportunity that I have been seeking, which is a lifetime's worth of knowledge and lessons.  I'm truly blessed to be given this opportunity.  It's scary to realize that I have one more year to get myself together for the real world.
