hhhmm. i... don't know how i feel about this. like. i think i get it, acheros really doesn't get a good description until almost the end of novel for plot reasons but... this looks kinda plain? very generic evil monster design, y'know? which. i guess that's kind what he is at the beginning? i don't know! if you'd asked me what design to give him at this stage of the plot i don't think i would've said anything like this but i'm also not really sure what i would've said. hmmm.
#i talk a lot <3#cpsm#acheros#ep 108#<- wild that we're this far and this is the first glimpse we get of the true plot#like. dude. the pacing in this novel is awful aksjhdkahdjka#but anyway coming to the design i think this could've worked a little better if he wasn't as defined#make him more of a concept and a shadow than a full body#and if you're gonna give him a body you gotta make him scrawnier. this looks weird especially if you know what he's really like.#BUT in my heart of hearts i do wish they would've gone for a mirror situation. or a shifting faces approach.#yes it would've been a bit of a spoiler but! i don't care. i like that. best part of his design imo
