But now knowing that Augustus physically beat and bullied Alastair......did he really want to stay the summer with him? Did he even actually spend the summer there or was that a lie told to James? Maybe he got hurt in the explosion? Since Matthew did send him into the explosion....it doesnt seem likely but? Was he really that desperate to avoid James? Or Elias? That he would willingly spend the summer in the house of someone like that?

I have so many emotions right now. None are good 😂 why make such an interesting character and then give us NOTHING on him??? This short stories novel better be about him and in his pov I swear to god.

I think he didn't want to go home to Elias. His father laughed and told Cordelia that Alastair was ~just going through a phase~ in one of those short stories CC posted before CHOG. Elias has shown to be a very Shitty (for the lack of a better word, won't rant about it rn) father in the few scenes he's shown up. I can't imagine Alastair was looking forward to going back to him.

Maybe he was trying to hmhmhm what's the word--- (edit: trying to fit in!) with his bullies in an attempt to [stop being picked on]?? Is that how bullying works tho??

Matthew did send him into the explosion if I recall correctly. I don't think he actually thought he would be harmed (seriously harmed at least) but Alastair probably didn't either when he (and his former bullies!) set that demon on the MT.

A primeira coisa que você precisa saber para começar a se enturmar é que: o interesse é seu. Não adianta você ficar esperando as pessoas virem falar com você, porque elas podem não saber se você está interessada ou não. Existem algumas coisas que eu faço para começar a falar com as pessoas:

1. Eu tento descobrir qual o interesse da pessoa. Se ela gosta de livros, filmes, séries, e entro em um assunto. Que depois de alguns minutos, acaba trazendo outro e outro. Essa é uma boa forma de se enturmar e fazer amigos. 2. Se o local em que você quer se enturmar é uma escola ou faculdade, tente falar na aula, fazer piadinhas (quando o professor não estiver falando), mostre-se extrovertida e simpática. 3. Esqueça a timidez, se você estiver em um ambiente novo que ninguém te conhece, pode ser a hora de você construir uma reputação. Esqueça a garota insegura e tímida que você acha que é, e mostre a pessoa divertida que você só expõe para amigos íntimos.
