(OC: Date [01-10-2016] Day[Saturday])
Today we moved to Dalaran for what seems to be a short break to discuss our next move regarding the warbands actions with the warband in a tavern in the horde district. A strange place for a formal meeting I must admit but the location was also chosen to give the members of the warband a break. In the end it was decided we would hunt down a bird that is being a nuisance and also kill some harpies and bring them back as offerings to the Highmountain tribe to regain their trust. It also seems we are not moving out as soon as I thought, so the supply run will just have to be to add to what we already have as I am sure the hospitality of the locals no longer extends to resupplying the place we stay.
Once this, gathering was complete I departed to report to my superiors in my order. As expected they had assumed I was dead after I left. And unfortunately but also expected, they wanted to know what I had been doing. Recounting my past in detail was painful and unpleasant. It got me many looks of shame from those around me. But any respectable elf would do that if all they knew about me was my past after the restoration of the sunwell. Regardless I left feeling well. I had remade contact with my order after so long and now report back on Taryanes progress. As keeping an eye of Taryane is something I already do, this is no issue. Not that it would have been. I also left feeling good because I am done stressing over my past. It is what it is and I cannot change it. I just have to accept it and move on.
Once my report was finished and I was dismissed, I went back to the tavern to relax whilst I could. There I found Aelathdrin and was soon joined by Taryane. Miss Windblaze showed off something she had created. It was an earpiece that was more durable than the model we use and also doesn’t have a neck piece. It can also be used with Divination if the user has the skill to do so. It was a good creation but she did not seem overjoyed with it and just brought up how there were people who are more skilled than her at this. Regardless, what she did was impressive and I just thought she should give herself more credit for it. I also recommended she take the design to the Shade to see if what she made can replace what we currently use.
Taryane left shortly and me and with a drink and conversed. We spoke about Silvermoon and Eversong woods. I asked her what she hoped to if this war ends and we can go home. She told me she might resume her training as a Farstrider or even consider starting training as a magi. She returned the question to me to which I responded that I would like to start a family.
After that conversation, the young elven hunter in red armour came up. They seem to be friends which makes sense. They both like to voice what they are feeling. I could see them getting along well. However from what I saw of the newer elf, she lacks the ability to know when it is time to be quiet, which Aelathdrin can do and has demonstrated. I wondered if she would watch over the newer elf and maybe give advice in hopes that she will be less lose with her tongue.
We both parted ways to rest. I had found a place to stay that was much nicer than the tavern in the hordes district and recommended it to her also. I sit in here now and from what I see, I am impressed. Obviously it all seems to be more human in design and there are many things that I would not personally choose to have in a room I own but it is comfortable. I think this will be the first time I sleep in a proper bed since my time on the Firestar estate. That was months ago now. It will be nice to sleep in comfort again before I return to Highmountain. May as well enjoy what I can whilst it lasts.
