(OC: Date [29-09-2016] Day[Thursday])
Today started wearily. The Highmountain tribe still keep watchful eyes over us with their extra guard. The lack of trust is concerning. But it cannot be helped. I came into contact with others from the warband and spoke to them. The conversation started with strange comments made by Rak’raz towards myself. I frowned but he seemed to be joking in his own strange way. Rassos seemed to wonder about Rak’raz and Izeeja. It seems they are in a relationship now. For some reason Rassos wished to know if he had bedded her yet. Hardly a topic that was our business.
Anyway. The group seemed to wish to train. As the spar ban had been lifted, and there seemed to be a lack of productive things to do with most of the warband resting and the surrounding areas scouted. I saw this as a good time to test their abilities again. First was Rak’raz. It was a close fight. But he took victory when he decided to sit on me after knocking him down. Next was Aelathdrin. Her fight was not so close. I took victory but she has improved from when we first met. Making smarter choices. Rassos left for his herbs.
After the light training I suggested we all go inside and eat. I got food from the supplies for the three of us and we sat down to share stories of our past. I chose my first mission with the warband. Rak’raz chose his pirate incident with Gurgosh and Aelthadrin chose a time in Eversong defending against scourge left overs with something amusing happening.
We were joined shortly by Sydow the forsaken mage. He took interest in the stories too. And he is as polite as I remember. It had been a while since I last saw him. He departed and Taryane arrived shortly after the shade. Ara’ni had a story to tell of how she got her hand stuck up a Kodos rear and it relived itself on her. Taryane seemed distracted and had no story to tell when I asked if she wanted to share one.
It turns out that we will be departing at some point. Salt and food is a requirement. So there is an objective to get sorted out. I could form two groups. One for fishing and one for hunting for meat.
