Hundred Line OC - she/her - 3 years older than V'ehxness (or Futuran equivalent)
Enth'rune aka Rune is a Futuran soldier with mediocre cryptoglobin.
She's better than someone like Kamyuhn, but not good enough to be a commander, so she's carved out her path in a different way: by being loyal to V'ehxness in any way that she can, in any way that will give her power and allow her to survive under V'ehxness's reign once she becomes a god. She's become in charge of V'ehxness's "battle pets," turning prisoners of war into the monsters that fight their war for them.
She's aware that this is unethical, but quite frankly she doesn't care. As long as she survives, all this will be for the good of the Futurans.
Design notes:
Orange hair almost always pulled back into a ponytail
Darker reddish streak at the front
Teal eyes
Looks enough like Takumi's mom that he'd double take. No relation other than Takumi looking especially like Futurans (ex: hair streak)
Wears a white and teal coat over her armor. Prefers no mask, like V'ehxness.
A few inches shorter than V'ehxness. V'ehxness should tug on her ponytail to tilt her head back 🤤
The point of her looking like Takumi/Takumi's mom is to make V'ehxness during V'ehxness route realize she has a Type. Also because it's funny to me. She and V'ehxness have deeply toxic yuri going on, with V'ehxness taking control of Rune's loyalty and ultimately discarding her... unless Rune can get through to her, which she will almost never try, because she sees V'ehxness as above her in every concievable way.
When Rune was young and in training to be a warrior (without knowledge yet that she wasn't good enough to be a commander like the others), V'ehxness came into power by killing Dahl'xia. Aware that this change of dynamics would affect her, Rune grappled for V'ehxness's favor. You could call them childhood friends of a sort, with Rune trying to lead V'ehxness on the right path, but both of them being such fucked up kids that when V'ehxness's ego got the best of her Rune just fell dutifully into line. Rune misses that time when they were kids, she misses the closeness to V'ehxness, she hopes that one day she can be important in a different way... and unbeknownst to either of them, V'ehxness longs for the closeness of someone too, though she pushes this feeling down so hard she's completely unaware. She also didn't see Rune as a friend, and now sees her as disposable. But when she gets rid of her, her heart aches in a way she doesn't understand...
Rune sees some of the other commanders as weak, especially Eva. She was something of a bully to Eva in the past.
In various routes:
In Killing Game route, the Sponsor kills Rune in order to take over the facility she runs.
In Rebellion route, she continues to fight against humanity. She doesn't accept the SDU, since they killed V'ehxness.
In V'ehxness route, she's already been discarded.
There is the possibility of her growing and changing as a person. Unlikely, sure, but if something happens to V'ehxness and she doesn't fall into bitterness, there's a chance of her realizing she's happier without the pressure V'ehxness put on her.
In some rare timelines, she might snap and attack V'ehxness. And thus die, badly. And V'ehxness will feel incredibly angry and betrayed for reasons she can't quite comprehend :)
