FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU??? i think he's pretty cute too but i love all my ocs so i'm biased
originally i had named him malakai but i think i like the name enele for him better so we're going with that
enele is a cleric but his relationship with his god is more like a warlock pact; he's a cleric of tharizdun by necessity instead of by choice or loyalty. i'm still working on the specifics, but enele runs into a manifestation of tharizdun that he wasnt meant to see and it latches onto a part of his soul like a horrible little wart. from that point, tharizdun is essentially hyper aware of enele's existence and in order to keep himself safe and mostly unaffected by his influence, enele starts serving him by trying to find a way to free him. as far as he knows as long as he's actively serving the elder eye it keeps him out of his sight and out of his priority list, sort of hiding in tharizdun's literal shadow. he's not thrilled about it either! but what little he's already seen and heard from his god leaves him terrified and he'd rather avoid ever hearing that screaming unknowable mass of darkness ever again
outside of serving primal evil incarnate, enele is very laid-back and generally pretty sweet. he keeps to himself, lives in a seaside cottage on the coast right outside of a small fishing village. high wis low int sort of smarts-- not the brighest but smart where it counts. he's an extrovert but he enjoys listening to other people talk and companionable silence more than actual chit chatting. i think he's pan? not sure what his deal is yet he hasn't told me his secrets. he's a forest gnome, and he's samoan!
