Apocalypse Question Game

What did you think your apocalypse outfit would be? Very likely the same as I already wear in the sense of I don’t see myself raid stores for clothes and wear what I’d take with me. Nothing would change for me, há.

What’s your actual apocalypse outfit been? My... regular outfit. Nailed it. On a serious note, I find it hard to find our current pandemic an apocalypse anyway.

What do you miss the most? I just miss all the events I had planned. I feel like I still have access to everything else that I do on a regular basis. Do hate I can’t get my hair cut though, since that was intended to happen in March and it feels really bad on my head.

What do you miss the least? I don’t think anything has changed enough for me to answer this. Literally NOTHING has been removed for me that I actually didn’t like, only things I like.

What can people do to help you? Communication, but I’ve felt socially drained since November already and corona’s not helping. I’m not seeing anyone I like, I don’t get to talk a lot. I often try sitting in a voice channel in my Discord hoping someone shows up just so I can talk to someone I like, because talking to customers is more socially draining than actually satisfying my social needs. I’m not even an extrovert...

What are you enjoying about it? Overall nothing, I do like I get to play two of my D&D campaigns more frequently but my favourite campaign was cancelled for the time being, so it’s... yeah.

What are you going to do that you never have time to do usually? Absolutely nothing. I still don’t have time, and it’s actually frustrating to see all those inspirational posts about having time to spend on hobbies, because I sit in the grocery store almost fulltime just waiting to get infected cause let’s be real: it is inevitable as grocery store worker. Sorry for using this as a rant space, but it is what it is. Either way, I can relate to not having time (since I read kira has the same issue).

6. Birthday:  December 24. Being in The Netherlands it is not ‘sad’ to be born this day, we don’t really celebrate Christmas Eve (at least not here in the north).

7. Favourite bands:  Although I listen more to soundtracks than bands nowadays, I still consider Versailles and D as some of my favourite bands.

8. Favourite solo artists:  Kamijo (from Versailles) has some good tunes out there, but I also want to give Peter Hollens a special mention; he’s a YouTuber musician who mostly does covers, but it’s all acapella and it’s really cool. Gollum’s Song is what made me discover his channel and it’s truly haunting.

9. Song stuck in my head:  Currently nothing at all. Yeah, it’s possible. For some reason I lately have a lot of songs stuck in my head that I never listen to. Not even radio songs, just... songs from the past, I suppose. Children’s songs and such.

10. Last movie I watched: Zapped. It’s a typical high school movie for teens, but I like that they made a movie in which a girl is sick of boys and gains the ability to control them. Also, the Haka is somewhat introduced in it, which is cool (Haka the dance of the Maori people which I learnt a lot about this semester).

11. Last show I watched: I watch Lucifer and Reign simultaneously at the moment.

12. When did I create my blog:  My oldest post is from January 2011 where I claim to be a nub on this website.

13. What do I post:  Right now? Mostly cats, The Last of Us and sometimes Frodo. However, my personal blog is much more active and contains a lot of Colin O’Donoghue, Digimon and Fire Emblem.

14. Last thing I Googled:  The weather in Amstelveen, as I am travelling there tomorrow for a Pokemon GO event.

15. Do I have any other blogs:  Yes, several! But I am active on only two. If you want to follow my other (more active) blog, please contact me. I don’t want that one to be public as I complain about real life issues there a lot and I allow myself to do this because I have less than 100 followers there.

17. Why I chose my url:  It’s my nickname. It used to be mirikalj because mirika was taken.

18. Following:  77 including many inactive people.

19. Followers:  561, a lot from when I was active in the Versailles and D fandoms, and of course when I still made gifs of YouTubers.

20. Average hours of sleep: About 8 hours. That is what I aim for. I only allow 10 hours if I think I really need extra hours.

21. Lucky number: I have two. I feel drawn towards 19 and 88. Also interesting to know, I hate the number 4. Something about the number 4 pisses me off. Same goes for 22:22. Whenever I see that time at the clock I get annoyed. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know either.

22. Instruments:  Instruments are not for me. Would love to get into those music video games though (Rock Band and the like).

23. What am I wearing:  Jeans and a shirt saying 'home is where the hearthstone is,’ which is referring to the game World of Warcraft. The hearthstone is an item that will teleport to any area you consider home, which is always an inn for as far as I’m aware.

24. Dream job:  If I had the voice for it, I’ve always wanted to be a vocalist. If I had the ability to remember lines, I’ve always wanted to be an actress. However, I went for the game art education instead and I’d say being a game artist is a dream job of mine, though whether I live up to it is a story for another time.

25. Dream trip:  I want to visit the Lord of the Rings sets in New Zealand, obviously. That’s my biggest aim. 

26. Favourite food:  Sushi, especially with eel. Only exception is when I’m not in a big fish mood, then I’ll accept cucumber sushi.

27. Nationality:  Dutch (The Netherlands).

28. Favourite song right now: Right now? It’s a tie between some pirate dude singing about revenge and the same dude being NOT a pirate singing other songs. Whether these are my favourites right now I actually doubt, but it’s what is often on repeat on my playlist among other songs he’s sung. Other than that I’d say the entire Galavant soundtrack playlist would suffice (many deleted videos), as the entire soundtrack is something I listen to at least once a week. I can’t pick one because my autistic ass puts all these thing on repeat all the time and there is just not something I absolutely prefer.
