Character I first fell in love with: J E S S E  P I N K M A N

Character I never expected to love as much as I do now: also jesse...? i guess i didn’t realise how much he would come to mean to me? in the beginning it was a case of, “ah yes! a cute and funny trash man!” but he became so much more than that. i have my issues with el camino as a film, but i can’t put into words how grateful i am that he was able to turn a new page and leave his past traumas behind. it makes me feel that, like, if he can then so can i.

Character everyone loves but I don’t: i guess it depends who is meant by “everyone”. bc most people i see on here hate walt, but also so much of the dudebros who watched the show LOVE him and celebrate him (and they totally missed the point of the show imo lmao but anyway). going by the numbers, i feel like walt has more lovers than haters, though, so i guess i’ll say walt. i still find him sympathetic, and i think he’s a brilliantly written character. but my GOD what an absolute bastard.

Character I love but everyone else hates: i don’t know that i’d go so far as saying i love her, but i guess skyler? she gets so much undeserved hate (mostly from those same dudebros who love walt, lbr). she is FAR from perfect, and definitely does a few rather questionable things over the course of the show, but at the end of the day “she protects that family from the man who protects that family”.

Character I used to love but don’t any longer: honestly, i haven’t fallen out of love with anyone from that show.

Character I would kiss: it doesn’t need saying, but jesse.

Character I want to slap: it doesn’t need saying, but walt. and aaaaaall of jack’s crew.

A pairing I love: jesse and self-care, ffs.

A pairing I hate: JESSE AND WALT. BAD!!!! ugh like no hate to the people who ship, you do you i guess, it but also what!! don’t like it. not one bit.

Most instruments have a standard size at which their acoustics are optimal and thus which most musicians (with the occasional exception, but nearly all professionals) use.

The viola, eternally the awkward child of the orchestra, would have to be 20in long in order to reach that sweet spot, and at that point would no longer be physically possibly to play as a viola. As a result, there is no “full size” viola – only an average range, around 15-16in, at which musicians are able to buy instruments they can physically play. If you’re looking for a nice viola as an adult player, you’ll probably have to try a few to see which one actually “fits” you.
