8: My favourite thing I've knit this year
So I've not been able to knit nearly as much as I had hoped because my wrists have been a bit dodgy, but I have made a few things I'm really proud of! I can't pick just one so heres a small selection (please forgive my unwoven ends 😅):
Something I'm technically proud of is this
The pattern here is the GoGo Dynamo, which was Steven Wests MKAL for 2024(mystery knit along) which I started last year but finished this year. It was really fun playing with the mohair, and how the varying yarn weight affects the texture of the finished piece. Would love to do an MKAL again when my wrists are a bit better.

This is a second sample of my eye vest (working on writing out the pattern now, hopefully I'll be able to put out a test call in the new year). I think I want to do some minor surgery to shorten it, I got a little carried away in the body but I absolutely adore this yarn, it's undyed and buttery soft.
Practically, I also have to mention
I made this hat in spring from some yarn I bought when I went to London with my friends to see Starlight express, and I wear it basically every day. The pattern is mine, and it's a super simple hat recipe for when I really just want to do stockinette forever so it's really fun to make and hats like this are my go to for knitting in the cinema.
Got a few projects I want to do next year, and I am on the mend now so hopefully I'll be back to knitting loads again!
Hello, captain of the mighty ship Aurora, Jonny D'Ville! I remember you said that you kill only annoying children so I have a question, as a person often seen by others as an annoying child: What's in your opinion is an annoying child?
The same things that qualify everyone as annoying, being loud (hmm not the right word cause being loud is great explosions, gunfire all that jazz but it’s like that one high pitched noise they make), making a mess (specifically when thee mess becomes my problem), pulling my tail ill shot a kid no hesitation for that (ok maybe with a warning first and a few hisses but if it keeps it up it’s getting lead through the head)
There’s probably more that I can’t be bothered to think about right now

Post Russian Affair, Owen physically cannot bring himself to kill Curt because he is DEFINITELY NOT OVER HIM. He is at war with himself because he both hates Curt’s guts and loves him all at once and Curt is also standing in his way.
Owen lowkey wants Curt to join him and Chimera but also knows that he’ll never do that.
He definitely had moments where he’d act like the DMA before the Russian Affair, it mainly came out when someone would hurt Curt, so the accident and everything because of it just got rid of his need to hold it back.
Hi! I'm making Marius Lore Document and it seems that one post in sources gone missing but I remember it.
It was a post about Marius participating in the sacred Saxons" ritual of staring into the sun during HNOC and that he looked at it for 3 days and they thought he was a prophet. From the sources, it seems that it was thedreadvampy tumblr post but I can't find it in the archive and anywhere.
