ranboo you said if no one solved it you'd drop more hints. ranboo you promised. ranboo 

so, while scrolling through reddit, i came across a thread discussing a certain older mc mod that may explain the origins of ranboos other half. the mod is called the farlanders mod, and features a mob called a farlander, that was originally conceptualised to be an enderman who had wandered too far and lost its connection with the end. the mob was a recolour of an enderman, who turned white when attacked. the mob also occasionally spawned with green and red eyes, an unexplained trait of ranboos current skin.  this is convincing as hell, purely based on appearance alone, but the real connection i think has been glossed over is the overall lore of the farlanders themselves. their whole story is that they wandered too far from the end and forgot their past selves, loosing their connection with the dragon and the end itself. and what is mr boo known to do? walk extremely long distances, travelling the most out of everyone on the smp, and forgetting things in the process one thing that i havent seen explained, is how the enderwalk plays into this, but a conclusion that could be drawn is the idea that the enderwalk is ranboos  enderman side fighting back, occuring when he experiences immense stress, fear or pain, as a way to defend himself as his base level genealogy is still enderman. if enderwalk ranboo is just ranboo with all his memories, it would make sense that his connection to the end ties into that in a big way. now this is where this theory goes a lil bit off the rails throughout tales from the smp, several ranboo iterations were featured, most notably ran and ranbob, both of which bore resembelence to ranboo but with differing colours and levels of black vs white. to explain this, my main theory now is that ran is in fact ranboo, just a version of him that hasnt yet wandered too far O R has been able to reconnect himself with the end (the most likely explanation being the second  one). ran, in the little screen time he had, demonstrated immense amounts of foresight and intelligence, however behaving similarly to ranboo, just with more cynicism. the similarities between ran and ranboo, as well as the mutual affection shown for tubbo coded characters, leads me to believe that they may be the same person. now i know this doesnt explain ranbob, but i honestly havent thought that far yet basically, the explanation i propose for ranboos white side is that he is becoming a farlander, an enderman who wandered too far from the end and lost his connection as well as his memories, and in the process got lost in time, loosing and gaining parts of himself throughout his journey (also ties to some arg stuff but i cant be arsed to talk about that now)
